VOLUNTEER

The FFA Booster Club Board always has a need for willing volunteers. This group of volunteers runs the Booster Club and also works closely with both the Cy-Woods FFA teachers and the CFISD Livestock Show Association to help make the year in FFA and the CFISD Livestock Show a successful and fun experience for the students. if you are interested in learning more about Board positions and their responsibilities please contact us, we’d love to tell you all about it!

If you like organizing events, thinking outside the box for new ideas, love festivals or markets, then this is the committee for you! The craft market is a huge undertaking that requires several volunteers to plan, organize and implement. We never turn down help for Craft Market! If you are interested in being part of the primary fundraiser that funds so many of the student opportunities, contact us so we can tell you more. Are you computer savvy, a tech genius, or have website experience? Or do you just know enough to get by with basic wed design tools? If so we would love to have you manage our Booster Club Website. Contact us for more information.

At the end of each year we hold a banquet to celebrate accomplishments of our FFA students, award Scholarships and to celebrate our graduating FFA members. If you are interested in being a part of this team please contact us for more information.

There are many ways to help out with the CFISD Livestock show. This can be directly via the LSA site or at Woods. There are a lot of logistical preparations leading up to and especially the days of the Livestock Show. Helping at the barn for load outs is one of the major needs specifically for our students. If you are interested in volunteering at any capacity for the Livestock show please reach out to us, we would love to fill you in on all your options.
